New EU-wide roaming charges come into effect on Sunday which will see reductions in phone calls and data downloading costs. International calls within the EU will fall to 29 cent per minute, a reduction of 6 cent. Receiving a call will drop from 11 to 8 cent while texting will fall from 11 to 9 cent.
